Jim Witter - Feeling Groovy - Live at the Nampa Civic Center

Feeling Groovy?

You will be when you come to this performance about 20 miles down the highway from Boise, Idaho. Back by a huge audience request will be Jim Witter (The Piano Men). He and his band will once again bring the music back to life that we all know and love along with video images to transport us all to a special time.

You are in for a trip down memory lane as Witter performs the music of Simon and Garfunkel! Jim has been performing nostalgia shows since 2001 and remarks, “This is the music I really love. Stepping on stage every night and playing these songs is a great honor and privilege”.

He has released two records, “All My Life” and “Forgiveness”, the latter garnering him a Dove Award Nomination for “Inspirational Album Of The Year”.

The Nampa Civic Center says fans can include this show as part of your 2011-2012 Season Package. That may be a very good idea.

According to one reviewer:

What a time it was! No other composers capture the mood of the '60s quite like Simon and Garfunkel. Their songs perfectly capture the innocence, hope and introspection that contrasted the monumental changes our society experienced during the 1960s. War raged abroad while "Peace and Love" became domestic mantra. Experience one of Jim's most powerful musical journeys featuring Simon and Garfunkel favorites, such as "Feelin' Groovy,", "Bridge Over Troubled Water," and "Mrs. Robinson." A native of Ontario, Canada, Jim has received musical awards in both Canada and the United States. Jim thrilled us several years ago when he presented the music of Elton John and Billy Joel, in "Piano Men."
