Derrick Boles Embodies Education, Leadership and Inspiration: “Stand Up America.”

Derrick Boles
Derrick Boles is hoping a first-of-its' kind event at the Idaho Center last month will help bring communities together and jump start change.

Derrick is the founder of Stand Up America, but in September he hosted 'Stand Up Idaho.'

It started with a community bike ride, Stand Up Idaho - Community Challenge Ride, and featured a message from nationally-renowned speaker Milton Creagh, according to KTVB.com.

All funds raised go to programs helping find solutions to bullying, drug abuse, violence and discrimination.

Derrick told KTVB that he is passionate about creating programs that connect people, rather than allowing social ills to tear them apart.

“Our mission is to challenge, educate, inspire and mobilize community based organizations and leaders to 'Stand Up' for community empowerment, he added. "Our goal is to provide collaboration opportunities, training, technical assistance and funding opportunities for underrepresented populations across America."

It is not surprising that this message is spreading to Kentucky , Fresno , Denver , Houston , San Antonio, and other areas. This visionary leader's goals also include:

* Realigning our countries moral compass
* Standing Up against social ills
