Beauty, talent, competition and intrigue are in the air as the Mrs. Idaho America Pageant celebrates its 36th Anniversary. The contest is the official state preliminary to the
national Mrs. America Pageant. The
2012 Mrs. Idaho pageant was held November 5th at Kuna High School in
Kuna, Idaho. The event featured Idaho’s most beautiful and accomplished
married women from across the state.
Beverly Hartle (pictured below), Mrs. Meridian was crowned Mrs. Idaho America 2012, winning an all expense paid trip to the national competition and a prize package worth over $10,000. Beverly will compete at the National Mrs. America competition this Spring. The Top 5 included Kaley Sparling, Mrs. Ada County – 1st Runner-Up, Nadia Archer, Mrs. Boise – 2nd Runner-Up, Ellen Austin, Mrs. Minidoka County – 3rd Runner-Up & Faith Thomas, Mrs. Treasure Valley – 4th Runner-Up
The Mrs. Idaho America pageant attracts married women with a wide range of professional credentials. Participants are stay-at-home moms, teachers, real estate professionals, doctors and much more. Eighty percent of the ladies who enter are first-time participants. Contestants have ranged in age from 18-62.
You are never to young or old to follow your dreams, the organization states on its website. And they are looking for ladies that are beautiful and healthy inside and out.
"Our goal is to run a fair and honest quality pageant while providing a nurturing atmosphere to all of its participants, according to "The Mrs. Idaho Team," Sher Finke, Susan Marler, and Mandi Feely. "You will have a great experience and meet new friends that will last a lifetime. You will share your love of marriage, family and community service. You can do the pageant for the excitement, self-confidence, the incentive to get in shape, and to learn more about yourself."
