LIVE MUSIC... MOUNTAINS... CAMPING...  DON'T MISS THE FIFTH ANNUAL IDAHO-DOWN MUSIC FESTIVAL.

The Idaho-Down is a collaboration of Idaho musicians and artists that dreamed of having a great music festival in their backyard.

According to promoter Seth J Brown of TO Entertain U, LLC:

After being inspired by other festivals such as The Fomily Reunion, Sawtooth Music Festival, and Desert Rocks Music Festival, Idaho based band Equaleyes took the initiative to make the dream come true with the co-operation of Brundage Mountain Resort in 2009. Coming into it’s 5th year, The Idaho-Down now features some of the most talented musicians and artists in the region. Located deep in the mountains of central Idaho, (2 hrs. north of Boise/20 min. from McCall). Come enjoy two days of music, art, dancing, mountain biking, hiking, and camping!

Music genres featured range from Americana, to folk, bluegrass, funk, reggae, and classical to psychedilc rock.

FACTS ABOUT THE Idaho-Down
- Founded in 2009 by Dave and Jeff Crosby
- Jeff Crosby is a McCall / Donnelly, ID native and an excellent singer / songwriter.  Jeff plays both acoustic and electric guitar.  He is known for his jam/rock project Equaleyes.  He is currently touring the nation with his project Jeff Crosby and the Refugees, and Americana / Honky Tonk Rock project http://jeffcrosbymusic.com/.  The Refugees just finished a month long tour with Jerry Joseph & the Jack Mormons.
-  The event is grass roots, and has relied on word of mouth for the past four years.
-  This year, look/listen for advertisements on BOB FM, WILD 101, 89.9FM / RadioBoise.org, Boise Weekly ...

Here is a breakdown:

WHO: men and women of all ages...  people with families...  those with no children that love live music and the outdoors.

WHAT: 5th Annual Idaho-Down Music Festival
Live music, free camping with ticket, mountain biking and hiking via the ski lift (festival goers get a special discount on lift rides), other outdoor adventures ...
Live paintings, performance art (i.e. arial dancing and fire spinning)
Vendors:  food, beverage, and art/crafts

WHERE: Brundage Mountain Resort (3890 Goose Lake Rd  McCall, ID 83638)
only 20 minutes from Mccall...  approximately 2 hrs from Boise.

WHEN: Friday, July 26th & Saturday, July 27th.

WHY:  Life is short...  celebrate it and have a great time!

HOW:  tickets can be purchased online via www.idahodownfestival.com.  each ticket purchased plants a tree!  you can also get tickets at The Record Exchange (11th / Idaho, Downtown Boise) or at Paul's Market in McCall.  Tickets are also available at the gate for either or both nights.

Single night $40 registration: ...  only $35 early bird.
Two day $60 reg... only $50 early bird.
Early bird tixx are available now through July 8th.
Camping:  Tent / RV / Trailer/ Car camping are all acceptable (no power or dump hookups on site for RV's).
Food & beverage vendors on site.
Coolers are ok in camping / parking area... no outside beverages in amphitheater.
