US Magazine: "Paris Jackson Moves to Children's Hospital After Suicide Attempt, Has Been Bonding With Family"

The Jackson family is sticking together, according to US Magazine. Following Paris Jackson's suicide attempt on Wednesday, June 5 -- where the late Michael Jackson's daughter was rushed to the hospital after cutting her wrists and swallowing a bottle of pills -- her family is supporting her in any they can.

The pop culture magazine reports that the 15-year-old was transferred to the Children's Hospital Los Angeles on Thursday, June 6, and a source tells Us Weekly exclusively that visitors have included grandmother Katherine Jackson, biological mother Debbie Rowe, brother Prince Michael Jackson and aunt LaToya Jackson. Grace Rwaramba, a former nanny, has also stopped by. "Everyone has come together to support her: Katherine, Debbie, Grace came back, Latoya was there," the source tells Us. "Katherine and Debbie actually get along. They met a long time ago when Michael was alive and stayed in touch." Read more:

The daughter of pop superstar Michael Jackson, her name at birth was  Paris Michael Katharine Jackson, according to Infoplease.com.

Paris Katharine Jackson is the second child, and the only daughter, of pop musician Michael Jackson. Paris Jackson was born in 1998 to Jackson's second wife, Deborah Rowe. The details of her birth were never discussed openly by Jackson or Rowe, but it has been widely reported Paris and her older brother Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr. (known as Prince, b. 1997) were conceived via artificial insemination, then carried to term by Rowe. Michael Jackson and Rowe were divorced in 1999, and Rowe renounced her parental rights, reportedly in return for a mulit-million dollar payment. Paris Jackson was shielded from the media during most of her childhood, often wearing a mask during her rare public appearances with her father. Michael Jackson died in 2009, and during his memorial service at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Paris startled fans by stepping up to the microphone to say tearfully of her father, "Ever since I was born, daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine... I just want to say I love him so much."
Her father, Michael Joseph Jackson (August 29, 1958 – June 25, 2009) was an American singer-songwriter, dancer, businessman and philanthropist. Often referred to as the "King of Pop", or by his initials MJ, Jackson is recognized as the most successful entertainer of all time by Guinness World Records. His contributions to music, dance, and fashion, along with his publicized personal life, made him a global figure in popular culture for over four decades.

The eighth child of the Jackson family, he debuted on the professional music scene along with his brothers as a member of The Jackson 5 in 1964, and began his solo career in 1971. In the early 1980s, Jackson became the dominant figure in popular music. The music videos for his songs, including those of "Beat It," "Billie Jean," and "Thriller," were credited with breaking down racial barriers and transforming the medium into an art form and promotional tool.
