Know that you are never alone, you are always loved, and whatever you're
doing right now -- even if it's not your "best," it's good enough.
You're doing the best you can. We weren't put here on this Earth to
struggle. Life is a journey. You don't learn your lessons until you're
through. But life is also a gift -- one that we never know when it will
be taken away from us. So embrace all that life has to offer. - Mary Pritchard EXCERPT from Ode to the Universe on Huffington Post.
I love the work of Mary Pritchard, Ph.D.
That is why I was not surprised to see her as the cover photo and feature profile in the March/April edition of Idaho Women’s Journal. The article, titled “The Messenger of Heart & Mind: a Conversation with Mary Pritchard, PhD, HHC,” also promotes her book “Rebalance Your Hormones and Reclaim Your Feminine Power.”
I enjoyed having lunch with this outstanding author earlier this week and enjoyed the chance to learn more about her life and to experience her deep creative spirit.
Pritchard is a professor in the Department of Psychology at Boise State University. She has authored and coauthored journal articles for leading psychology journals such as Personality and Individual Development, Stress and Health, Journal of Human Behavior in the Social Environment, and Eating and Weight Disorders. She regularly provides workshops on body image, eating behaviors, and self-esteem. Follow her on Twitter. Link with her on LinkedIn. And be sure to like Mary on Facebook.
I highly recommend checking out her work for anyone who is interested in living a healthier, happier life,
