I always marvel at those who have the energy to rise and excel in the professional world, while balancing family and community activities. When I first met Holly Cook, I was impressed by her charisma and willingness to really make a difference.
"Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you’ll find one at the end of your arm," wrote Sam Levenson, in One Era & Out the Other. "As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands: one for helping yourself, the other for helping others!"
That is why I support this initiative by Holly who is extremely passionate about the noble efforts of Leukemia and Lymphoma Society that help to improve the quality of life for those fighting blood cancers, including promoting progress toward cures for Leukemia, Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin Lymphoma and Myeloma.
Public policy advocacy is also a passion of Holly's, and she seeks to help create potential solutions to problems such as out-of-pocket medical costs through LLS. Holly's largest goal is to raise awareness and funds for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to continue the growth of efforts that benefit families affected by blood cancers.
"Now when Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, pleading with Him, saying, “Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, dreadfully tormented.” And Jesus said to him, “I will come and heal him.” The centurion answered and said, “Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed." - Matthew 8:5-8
